National Treasure: Book of Secrets

Rarely, and I do mean RARELY are sequels ever as good as the original. While I am a Gage fan, I was not anticipating a knock out of a movie because this is a sequel. I was entirely wrong. This movie is as good as the original, if not better. The original cast came back for this one and the 'bad guy - Ed Harris" unfortunately didn't come across as a real bad guy. He just didn't pull it off. Not nasty enough?? or is it just lack of acting? With lead in information about page 47 in the "Book of Secrets", I smell part 3. Hope it proves the sequel curse wrong.
Well worth the money and time for this one - Enjoy
Yes, I recommend this movie.

To have someone love you as much as Gerry loved Holly just makes your heart melt. Letters 'from the grave' is kind of a weird, spooky thing, but it really works well. It helped the healing for Holly and I believe that was the purpose Gerry wanted to accomplish.
The parts of the movie filmed in Ireland made me want to go back even more and even sooner than I have planned. Something about Irish men....almost better than.....
The supporting cast - -- Lisa Kudrow and Kathy Bates --- was great. Harry Connick, well....he's a better singer.
All in all, this is a great movie, great story line, original story line (something lacking in Hollywood lately) and well worth the time and money. Enjoy
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Denzel has another hit on his hands. I remember this story from the news, but seeing the 'behind the scene' story was an eyeopener. It is rather a long movie and looking back, I realized they were trying to set the story, but think it did the opposite. It was very slow moving but once it got going, the time went quickly. Well worth the time and money to see this

The opening immediatedly made me wonder if this was a sequel to the "Wedding Planner" with J Lo. No, it's just a really good friend helping her friends have their special day. She is such a good friend that she submits herself to really hideous bridesmaid costumes. And keeps the ugly things - guess even Goodwill needs to be spared.
Along the way there is the typical boy meets girl, boy loses girl , boy gets girl back story line. Very typical and very predictable. That being said, if you want a "cute" movie and have an hour + to escape....go for it. It's clean by Hollywood standards.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
