This Ice Age installment sticks to the formula of the first two movies. It is a great family flick with tons of laughs and action that adults and children can enjoy. I recommend this movie to the casual movie goer. Otherwise, it can easily be a Netflix rental at a later date.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This movie met all my expectations. From a technical stand point, the graphics looked awesome and the 3D effects were icing on the cake. The voice acting was also top notch.
This movie has laughs for both adults and kids. Its a fun ride for the entire family. Definitely worth the cost of admission.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Not what I expected...

I had such high expectations for this movie. I knew of the graphic novel growing up but had never read it. So watching it was very exciting for me. I wanted to love this movie, but to be honest, I was waiting for it to end. Great special effects, great action, awesome characters... but the story just fell on the absurd side. Do not expect a Spiderman or Hulk type movie. If you are not a fan of the graphic novel, save this one for netflix.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Mouse or a gentleman?

Despereaux is a gentleman of course, and a couragous one too.
A very enjoyable family film. The voice acting was done very well and the animation looked very smooth. The story was a bit predictable but still good entertainment for the entire family.
There really aren't many choices out there for children so if you are really looking for a night out at the movies for the kids, this is a winner. Otherwise, I would reccomend waiting till it comes out on Netflix.
Happy Holidays and have an awesome New Year!

Netflix!

I really enjoyed the first installment in the Madagascar duo. Unfortunately, the humor that made part 1 so enjoyable is no where to be found in part 2. The voice acting is top notch, but the jokes weren't that great and the story was borderline just ridiculous. I actually looked down at my watch to see how much longer I had to sit through it.
Save this one for Netflix.

Very entertaining movie. My 6 year old daughter loved it, and there's enough humor throughout the movie to keep the adults entertained as well.
I definitely recommend this for the entire family.

Titus Pullo IS the Punisher!

If you haven't seen HBO's Rome series, then my review title won't make any sense. Buy anyways...
This movie ROCKS! Lots of blood, guts, gore and TONS of ACTION. If you're looking for an action movie with substance and a good story, pass on this one. This movie brings the Punisher movie series back to its comic book roots. Ray Stevenson does well and is believable as the hell bent vigilante.
This is a highly entertaining action movie. That's all you should expect, and that is all you will get. It is definitely on my recommendation list. Enjoy!

007 IS THE MAN!

Let me start off by saying: If you didn't like Casino Royale, you will not like this movie.
Quantum of Solace is another adrenaline packed episode in the Bond series. Daniel Craig returns as 007 searching for the man behind the death of the woman he fell in love with in Casino Royale.
The cinematics and environments where they filmed this were absolutely beautiful. The action was heart pounding and actually surprised me a bit. Its amazing what they can do with special effects nowadays.
I recommend this movie to everyone who loves action and most importantly, loves Bond movies. I feel like they are pushing the boundaries of the PG-13 rating due to violence, so I definitely wouldn't take children under 13.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Great for the casual fan...

I did not know what to expect when I took my daughter to see this movie. I had heard a lot of negative reviews about this movie and am happy to say that it was much better than I had previously heard. I think the movie is extremely well made: great action sequences with unique camera angles, the same sound effects from the live actions movies, and a decent enough story to keep you involved in the plot. The evil droids also offer a lot of comedic banter throughout the movie to help break the tense feeling created by the battle scenes.
In my opinion, the only real downside to this movie was the script could have used some work as well as the voice acting.
Overall, this movie is not great, but is very entertaining.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Ferrell + Reilly = Hilarious

This movie has one of the most ridiculous plots I have ever heard of: Two middle aged men who still live at home end up becoming step brothers, then enemies, and then best friends. So unrealistic, so absurd. But you know what... it was friggin' hilarious. I am a huge fan of the "Saturday Night Live" type humor. If you liked Anchorman, Talladega Nights, or even Blades of Glory; then this movie is right up your alley. Be ready for some gut busting laughs and sick humor. Enjoy!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
