Wonderful, funny and moving

Thought-provoking and beautiful, this film does the impossible: makes you care about a speech impediment and the childhood and life of a single person even as Nazism is sweeping Europe and the UK is on the brink of war. The acting is superb, both Colin Firth and Jeffrey Rush can stun with a simple shift of the eye or mouth. Wonderful, wonderful.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
