I was worried I wouldn't like this film given some of the reviews. Boy were they off the mark! Both my husband and I thought this movie was excellent. Daniel Day-Lewis was surprisingly perfect in the role of Guido. Marion Cotillard was wonderful. In fact, all played their roles as if made for them. The interplay of the black and white scenes was reminiscent of Fellini's 8 1/2 and added that "fellini feeling". As I was recommending this film to others I found that those who had already seen it loved it. My husband and I are planning to see NINE again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
