After the Half blood prince, I thought there may be a continuation of a "bad movie" after a "good book". Not so this time. The movie follows the book and keeps the viewer wanting the next chapter but at the same time not wanting it to end. After seeing Part 1, I took out my book and started reading the part after the ending of the movie....With that said, I just can't wait to see Part 2. We have seen some of the previews with the recent trailers of Part 1. If you haven't read the book, I would suggest that it be a pre-requisite for Part 2. I saw the movie with my daughter and she said she had problems following the characters. That will probably improve in Part 2 when Neville, Jenny, McGonigle and Hogwarts play a much bigger role.
I took my whole family to see this and we laughed our heads off. Hank Anzaria's character was a bit overdone but the special effects were great. Can't wait to see what museum is next....there has to be a sequel!!!
After reading some reviews last night about the no dialogue for 40 minutes, I was hesitant to take my 6 year old grandson to see it. The non-human dialogue was not boring to him or me. It helps to understand the character and not distract from the message being told. He and I totally enjoyed the movie and I will definitely purchase the DVD for him and me when it comes out.
