Loved it! We saw this on the IMAX screen, and the 3-D effects were amazing. The "flying" sequences were fantastic! This version of "A Christmas Carol" was true to the Dicken's original--and there were parts that were quite frightening! I would advise AGAINST taking small children--but for older kids and adults--you must see this one on the big screen---it simply won't be the same experience on a DVD.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I like Vince Vaughn, and I like Reese Witherspoon. I really wanted to really like this movie, and I did...to a certain extent. In fact, Vince Vaughn in the church play is hilarious! This movie is, I think, exactly what it was meant to be. You won't have long, deep, conversations about it later over coffee. In fact, you probably won't even have long, deep, conversations about it on your way out to the parking lot. Bottom line: For 10 bucks a ticket? Honestly...wait for the DVD.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
