Really NOT recommended for young kids - some very scary parts. That being said, breathtaking animation, excellent 3D special effects, excellent soundtrack during movie, great classic story and Disney stayed true to the original story as written for the most part, with a few interesting twists. Jim Carrey's voice as Scrooge was perfect. Overall it gets a "very good" with an underlying "slightly creepy" factor we could not quite shake. Not your average Disney family flick.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
