An archetypal rags to riches story posing thought provoking questions while entertaining in a hilarious laugh out loud way. Thanks to the dynamic personality of Leanne Tuohy and award winning performance by Sandra Bullock. It’s a story that makes you laugh, cry, cheer and can make you reflect. Are you Michael asking, am I loved for who I am or who people want me to be? Or Leanne reflecting on what motivates her, asking “Am I a good person?”
The film reminds us we’re not black/white, rich/poor, haves/have nots. We’re human beings connected by a common thread whether it’s called: love, God, Spirit. In the end, it’s what flows through each of us giving our lives meaning. It is in essence, “what has our back!”
Yes, I recommend this movie.
