What a let-down .....

This summer is shaping up to be full of duds and let-downs. I've never been one to drum up lots of expectations about movies, but all of the HP movies are at least very good if not excellent. This did not even match up to the worst of the previous 5 films. While Harry Potter & THBP is not a bad movie, neither is it a great movie. It's just OK. David Yates put together a stellar movie with #5 and I thought he would nail this one. Unfortunately not.
That being said HP 6 is Oscar worthy when compared to the likes of the complete excrement-fest that is Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Pleasantly Surprised

It's too bad that J. J. Abrams didn't direct Episodes I - III of Star Wars. Then, maybe, there wouldn't be millions of angry fans out there.
I've never been a Trekkie, but did enjoy a movie or a episode here and there. This movie was superb.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
