Precious is not just about a young girl having two children by her molesting father, nor is it just about growing up in the hood, but rather, it's about triumph and surviving. The actors were so real in their role that it opens our eyes to what goes on in our world even to this day.
Although the leading role was superbly executed, this truly is Mo'Nique's best performance EVER. Although the language was strong, it was real and emotional. It's about real people, real situations, and above all, it touches your soul.
Great job to the cast and everyone involved. I can't wait for the next REAL heart touching movie. Bring it ON!
