great for adults and kids 8 and older

thought this was a great, entertaining movie for adults and kids 8 and older. Younger than that may become afraid at certain scenes in the movie, although we certainly saw younger ones there, I would not have taken my child younger than 8. Would have preferred seeing it in Imax, if you can't then don't waste your time in 3D. The effects were not that great to warrant the eyestrain you get from wearing those glasses for two hours.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Was there with my husband two 8 1/2 year old boys and a 14 year old girl and it was enjoyed by all. Would say the 81/2 year olds enjoyed it the most. Would not take a child younger than 4 as there are some moments that would be frightening to someone younger than that
