This is the very first time I attended one of these HD Live performances. It went beyond my expectations. The camerawork was excellent. I especially liked the interviews and backstage information during the intermission. I can guarantee that this will not be the only HD Live performance I will attend.
Pros great story

A refreshing look at a situation that in this day and age touches the majority of people. I thought it was very well done and would be happy to recommend it. Tough in some instances but you can't avoid some things just because you don't like them or they are depressing. Having gone through as a friend and family member to my fair share of cancer patients, I liked the confirmations of how I really felt and how I tried to keep things status quo as we went through tough times. Go see it!

Never saw the TV series

I attended this movie with a girlfriend who was a big fan of the television series and really wanted to see the movie. I probably would not have attended otherwise. I was wonderfully surprised and totally enjoyed the film. I think they did a great job of bring the non-series watchers up to speed within the credits and first 10 minutes of the film. I was able to sit back and enjoy without being lost as to why the characters were doing or saying certain things. I would recommend it to any women out there. I'm not sold on the fact that many men would enjoy it. I say . . . grab some dinner with girlfriends, go to the movie and have cosmo's after.
