No, it's not flashy. There's no special effects and nothing magical. It's a down to earth story that deals in reality and I'm certain everyone will identify with one or more of the characters.
Each actor delivers a brilliant performance. But the focus is on Rob and how he will do apart from Twilight. He does extremely well. All you see is Tyler - a troubled young man working out his issues to the best of his ability. There's not a single trace of Edward.
The story will affect every true American down to the core. There was not a dry eye in the house.
Kudos to the cast and especially to Rob on whom the spotlight is more like a microscope. He can be proud.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
