A masterpiece of storytelling mixing an historical event with an action adventure. The true story of a small group of Jewish partisans who refused to die and refused to lose their humanity. They lived in the forest of Belarus for several years and formed a community. Some of the time, they ran from the Nazis, other times they fought the Nazis while most of the time was spent living as normal existence as they could under the circumstances. A brilliant piece of storytelling with fine acting performances by Daniel Craig and Liev Schrieber. This little known story exemplifies the word hero as it is applied to these brothers who risked their lives to save the lives of hundreds of others.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
