After catching the premiere, I can say I'm stunned. This movie blew me away from start to finish.
Yes it's cheesy, but it's a movie based on a comic book character, so that much should just be a given.
Everyone was superb in this, even Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachael Dawes.
Though yes as we all expected Heath Ledger stole the show. The Joker was the loudest and craziest person throughout the movie. Batman had his moments and Harvey Dent wasn't any push over either, though I do wish they used him a little more. But I can't complain, since Ledger seemed to be the one to really bring this together. Everyone else seemed more comfortable with their roles this time around, and didn't seem too forced or anything. So also without any origins to worry about, this time we could all sit back and enjoy this crazy ride.
