What you'll notice most about this movie is how differently paced it is from the usual American police procedural. Rather than rapid cuts, there long, slow scenes in which the emotions of the lead character--a Romanian detective--permeate your bones. And the chase scenes, such as they are, occur on foot rather than in stuntman-driven vehicles. In a sense, (almost) nothing happens in the movie. But it's thoroughly gripping. An intense movie experience.
A realistic, gritty view of the real urban India. The plot gets a little far-fetched toward the end, but there's no question that it's gripping all the way thru. Well worth seeing--especially if you've never been to India.
