GREAT MOVIE! ... NOT for kids!

This movie was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time.
The book is rather dark to begin with, and in this film adaptation, they take it even deeper. -- into the psyche of a young boy dealing with rage, loneliness, adventure, and unbridled imagination. Each character represents a part of Max and how he views the wold with his young mind.
I was thoroughly entertained!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The only thing scary about this movies was how much I paid for the ticket ... it was horrible. At the end everyone in the theater just kind of sat there going, "Was that it?"
Don't waste your time and money.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
