Superb. Wonderful. The concert was a learning experience as well as the best we've seen in a long time.

The opera encores should be moved to a Sunday afternoon. Evening during the week are not good for many people because the production ends too late.
Also, the City Center in White Plains, NY, is not capable of handling this kind of a production. For the entire 3 acts of Tosca, the sound was unbearably loud, and all requests to lower the sound were ignored.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Damnation of Faust

The opera performance was terrific. But, the theatre was totally unprepared to show this simultaneous broadcast in two theatres. We were in the theatre that was added at the last minute and did not receive the simulcast. Yet, they told us it would be running in 5-10 minutes, from the beginning.They had no idea what they were showing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
