It's Good to be Strong

I was dubious about how the movie would flow. I'm a huge country music fan but I wasn't sold at first. The further the movie got into the real story, the better I liked it.
I'm certain that the pressure of the spotlight and trying to stay on top of an ever-changing music industry does cause use of drugs, alcohol, loose living and suicide. Many people around me in the movie were shocked when the suicide occurred. I wasn't because I sensed her inner pain.
Gwyneth Paltrow amazed me with her spot-on portrayal of a troubled artist trying to keep her head above water. All four lead stars did an outstanding job and I would highly recommend the movie to anyone.

Not only did I like this movie, I saw it a second time. The audience reactions were so real that people were literally on the edge of their seats.
The story works. Directing is great. Acting is definitely some of the best I've seen all year.
Won't be surprised to see some Oscar nominations for this movie. Stay tuned...

The Comedy Spoof of the Year!

First of all, the dialogue was hilarious. Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg were extremely funny as Cop opposites. Yes, folks, there is going to be violence in a cop movie, even in a comedy about Cops. Yes, the humor is "over-the-top"--it's a Will Ferrell movie, so that should go without saying. I simply loved the movie, laughed my sides off, and wasn't bored even once during this movie. Most movies today do have boring spots in them. Not this one. I was thoroughly entertained from beginning to end and would go see it again & I rarely say this. It was great fun for me and the rest of the audience at the theater. Bravo!!

Over-the-top, raunchy, hilarious, side-splitting laughter. Absolutely loved it!! One of the best comedies since the HANGOVER!

Intriguing premise. Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes were superb. Graphics that kept you engaged.
It was far better than I expected!

A totally engaging movie. Loved the premise of a woman wearing the shoes in a relationship and being the one who was the cheating spouse (although this was predictable).
Sparkling dialogue, good B story with the female sidekick for Clooney's character.
The only thing missing would have been for George's sidekick to have been the one who ended up firing him; rather than running off to another job.
It would have served the adage "What goes 'round comes 'round much better."
That said, I was not expecting such a good movie going in. Was extremely happy that I was wrong.

Incredible Hulk Has a Heart

Wasn't expecting a love story in the movie -- what a surprise!! Lots and lots of hot action scenes that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Especially enjoyed the various cameo appearances, my favorite of which was by Robert Downey Jr. Wasn't expecting the movie to be as good as it was and stayed through the credits hoping for some side shots. Maybe next time they'll put them in for the fans. Can't wait to see the sequel to this awesome story!!!!!
