Avatar is the most original and moving film that I've seen in a very long time. With stunning visuals as well as a strong plot line it rises above the utter rubbish that Hollywood has been producing for the past few years. The IMAX 3D version was amazing, but at times the combination of the 3D glasses and trying to follow the fast action was a minor distraction. I plan to see this again in regular 2D and will probably purchase on BluRay when available.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
