He does it better than any other actor. I always feel his characters where they live.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Solitary Man is a movie I saw knowing Douglas would be playing a stinker character. He played it well and he DID learn a lesson, although they didn't hit movie-goers over the head with it.
I liked Solitary Man.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Sweet. But I agree with other reviewers that the chemistry between Adams and Goode was missing. Also, Adams was noticeably pregnant, which interferred very much with my willing "suspension of disbelief."
It wasn't quite bad enough to drive me out of the theater. I stayed. I watched. Ultimately, it had a sweet romatic premise that it simply didn't deliver very well.
It was a beautiful movie. Absolutely beautiful and scenic. But it was way too much like "Something's Gotta Give," right down to some of the same music, which was irritating.
However, Streep and Baldwin made an entertaining pair. Baldwin matched Nicholson's aging badboy and Streep was just right (as was Keaton) in the 'divorced woman finding her feet' and "other parts" role.
Had it been accompanied by a different soundtrack, I would've enjoyed this movie much more.
