Yes, the movie was "action packed"- however, the cinematography was so distracting--it really took away from the film.
Yes, Matt Damon was "as good as ever"- however, his role seemed overplayed..
Overall, it was entertaining, but trite at times, the message was political-- and we all know the predictable ending.
It would have been better with a deeper plot, less war scenes.
Would wait til it comes out on DVD- or see on matinee.

Not just a chick flick-- anyone will enjoy this funny, touching movie-- not as predicatable as you would expect. The whole cast was delightful!!

The movie is a quiet, true to life story; but the mesmerizing acting from Jeff Bridges is a tour de force!
He is definitely an Oscar winner in my eye. He is delightful with his rawness too.

Worth seeing on "bargain nite" or "matinee"-- (not at full price)- however it is cute and some funny scenes-- a light hearted "chick flick".

It does start off slow and can seem desolate...
however once it takes off- Denzel's travels are worth watching-you overcome the brief gore. He is a great actor as usual...
and the ultimate message is endearing and very prophetic.

3D : The plot was very UN-original & predictable- however, the movie is worth seeing just for the virtual special effects. The middle of the movie "flying" scenes, could also have been cut- it was slow- boring- and would have made the movie better paced if removed.
Overall, it is a movie that needs to be seen in a large theater- even though I am not sure how much the "3D " made a difference.
