I actually enjoyed it very much. My expectations were very low going in and I was pleasantly surprised
Yes..you have to suspend belief a little, but there were some definite laughs, many smiles and even some emotional moments.
I had a great evening and just had fun!

Manage Your Expectations

I think that while I really enjoyed the movie, my expectations were just too high and I left a little disappointed. Cute, funny, great effects in IMAX, but I just cannot put my finger on it. Cars, Incredibles, Toy Story...ALL wonderfull. This, just good.

Uplifting & Fun

For almost 2 hours, "Jumping the Broom" takes us away from all of the problems and troubles we are feeleing from the economy, the war, the election and just day to day living. It transports us to a place where we believe there is hope for we gay men and women to find the mate of our dreams and have that wedding that years ago we thought would never be possible in our lifetime. It succeeds with camp, humor and excellent eye candy. I will hopefully see it again on the big screen and then get the DVD. Bravo!
