Great Movie for older kids

Booring
We thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I read the book after my 12-year-old son kept urging me to do so (he's also the one that got me to read the Harry Potter series), and so when the movie came out, I knew he would want to see it.
The only thing I would caution parents that I feel some of the action is very scary for younger children (like carrying around Medusa's decapitated head). If your child has nightmares or gets frightened easily, I would not recommend seeing this movie.
