Sets, costumes, make-up - FABULOUS!

Okay, but not great

My 15-year old son and I, his mother, have read all the books and enjoyed them. The movie was "okay" but not really great. If you've read the books, you'd probably enjoy it. However, the actual scenery, sets, and other "movie" details were very well done. The best character, for us, was Groover. We thought Percy looked like "Troy" from High School Musical!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
