Excellent acting and an intriguing plot allows the viewer to both enjoy the fast-moving scenarios, and think about the philosophy and possibilities of an overall order to the universe. A must-see for those who appreciate more than a shootemup film! Award material.

True Grit, with Jeff Bridges done by the Coen brothers, is a well acted interesting adaptation of the original novel. Comparing the original with John Wayne is difficult, since the structure is very similar. However, Bridges gives a convincing performance, and first-time Hailee Steinfeld has a wonderful future in front of her!

An Oscar Certainty

The sensitivity and extraordinary acting of all in this movie will merit this Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, and perhaps even Best Film. This is an entrancing story of a King who was forced into his position by a brother who chose sex over honor, and abdicated the throne. The painful attempt to cure his stuttering (successfully) makes for an edge of your seat experience. Applause at the end of this film in my theatre was highly justified!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

What a cast!

An enjoyable spy spoof with a cast of characters not to be believed! John Malkovich (who is hysterical), Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, RIchard Dreyfus and many other recognizable faces who make this comedy-thriller one that never bores. SIght gags and nuance lines make this a 'must-see' for a film that takes your mind away from the cares of life. Totally enjoyable!

A Kevin Kline Coup!

An intelligent, funny movie with nuances and extraordinary character development. Kevin Kline is his usual wonderful self, and the entire piece is reflective of the commotion and sometime idiocies of New York. A wonderful, laugh-out-loud, film. GO SEE IT!
A well-acted, nicely set western with a realistic theme. Ed Harris and Jeremy Irons (especially) are impressive, the directing is good and never drags, but Renee Zellweger's squinting (to the extreme) is most distracting, (she should go back only to the "Chicago" genre where they made her look beautiful somehow). A movie not to be missed, with a good plot and excellent cinematography.
