They had the world in the palm of their hands and they dropped it. This movie had all the elements to become a classic. The CGI was great, the story was not bad, kinda typical especially when I can figure the movie out ahead of time (I hate that). Acting was decent, not great. But again, Hollywood had to throw in elements that were not needed like the Scientists, One-liners, stupid robot fist to palm moves, borderline romance, and lots of filler. Also the star imo is a fake Channing Tatum or that's what the wanted him to portray himself as. I think he will get typecast because of this. I would've preferred another actor, I know everyone deserves a shot but not him. He sucked as a narrator too! They could have cut out a lot of doo-doo and shortened the movie and had a hit. Oh well they've already got my mula.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Glad this was brought to screen, I love how the move depicted both sides of Oscar Julius Grants life. Despite past mistakes due to bad choices, environment, and poverty a young man made an attempt to change his life around as most people often do. Unfortunately, that chance was to show and prove was cut short.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors

The movie overall was good, but at times the chemistry seemed a bit forced. Also towards the end of the movie Hollywood stormed in said wait, wait, wait a minute. We have to put in a corny one-liner or this is not American cinema. Underlying love-stories and one-liners the cornerstone of Hollywood. This formula is archaic, but we believe in it, no matter what the movie goers want! Been a while since I've read comics, so I'm not sure how much of this adhered to the original story.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

From a Graphic stand point, excellent! Loved the Cheshire Cat, actually the best character. Loved the "Mad Tea Party" with the Mad Hare. LOL he was funny as heaven. BUT, some inconsistencies in the storyline. Hollywood always tends to stray and incorporate a modern twist to appeal to the masses(idiots). Depp does the futterwacken, WTF was that needed for? Alice does the same thing, it almost looked like she's Crip walking. WTF? I hated the White Queen, Hathaway sucked. She cant act anyway. why was she there?
This movie is 90% true, because the WMD's were never found. Unfortunately, the other 10% leaves you feeling like GOD should wipe us out. It's an interpretation but you dont want to believe this is exactly how it went down. All the politics, the agenda's, the smoke screens. "Life is crazy, and the people in it are crazier". Continuously fighting for balance of power and resources. I gave it four, because one scene where Damon is held hostage and he gets smacked by the General looks really fake. Other than that it was a good movie that pissed me off again and made me feel how we (Americans) have forgotten about the Bush Administrations tactics. We're still at war, and so much damage has been done to this country. SMH
