This movie was a very surprising film, Drew Barrymore really did splendid work for her debut as a Director. Ellen Page shines through as she always does in these Indie films. The acting is brilliant, very believable characters. It's humorous and heart warming and I believe that anyone would enjoy seeing this film, I definitely recommend checking it out.
Let's be honest, the book is much better than the movie. That being said, the movie wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The beginning of the movie was very choppy, and I believe that to be the fault of the post-production team, since they were rushed and bumped up to 11/21 instead of 12/12 (Thanks a lot Harry Potter) Edward initially acted like he was addicted to some sort of narcotic, got his act together about halfway through. It was good, but there was much room for improvement. Hopefully the sequel will be much better; oh and ACTING LESSONS ALL AROUND!
Iron man is a great movie, Robert Downey Jr. is phenomenal as Tony Stark, the movie is action packed with a very deep story line. Marvel did a great job with Iron Man, the only thing I wish they had done differently is the role of Jim Rhodes. I'm just not a big fan of Terrence Howard, and his acting felt sub par for a movie of this caliber.
I see a lot of movies, I practically live at the theater. Now that being said, What Happens in Vegas is a breath of fresh air compared to some of the other movies out there. Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz's performances were phenomenal, they did a fantastic job of portraying a married couple, it was very humorous and will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is free this Friday, and if you're not - drop your plans and go check it out.
