Yes it could have been way better...but it's worth it to see the cast having such fun with all these great ABBA tunes. They really put their all into it, especially Meryl and Pierce. I had to hum and sing along druing the movie, and then go home and play my ABBA CD and dance.
The critics are being too harsh. This is a wonderful summer alternative to the dark, ugly , violent films churned out of a jaded, bottom-line oriented Hollywood.
My boyfriend liked it too. Just go and enjoy.
