I didn't care enough about any of the characters, the movie is very slow moving and I was bored. What a waste of great actors.

I was pleasantly surprised and very happy that the previews didn't give away the total story line.

Really a fun movie to watch. The kid loved it as well as adults.

Love Josh Brolin, he did a great job playing the younger Tommy Lee Jones, however, the story line was weak, I was bored and didn't laugh at anything. I do not recommend, however, my 11 year old son liked it, so if you can manage to sit thru it for your kid(s), then go for it.

While the special effects are amazing, the story line is weak. My 11 year old liked it, so I suggest only seeing it if you're bringing a kid.

Being someone who rushed home after school to watch Dark Shadows as a kid, I really was looking forward to this movie, and it didn't disappoint. Depp is fabulous as usual as was the rest of the cast. I enjoyed that it was set in the 70's and it had all the right stuff.

The book is fantastic and the movie does a real good job of interpreting it. Of course many things are not included, but that's Hollywood. It's a must see!

Thought it was very well done, interesting story and the performers and special effects were great. The movie was a bit long and slow in parts, but overall I give it a thumbs up. My 10 year old son really liked it.

Well here's the deal...my 10 year old son wanted to see the movie and he enjoyed it. As an adult it's not my cup of tea, but I wasn't completely bored either. The special effects were pretty cool and the story line was ok, but I really didn't expect much. So take a kid, they will like it.
