I honesty didn't know what the story was about before hand, and I'm glad I didn't because I probably wouldn't of gone. With that said, it was actually a pretty good movie. Scary yes, but nothing too graphic. Well done.
This was the biggest piece of crap I've ever seen. I only saw this movie because my son wanted to, he of course didn't mind it but he didn't love it either. It's a guy movie especially if you're immature. I want my money back.
Although not as good as the original, it still brought a smile to my face. Loved seeing those characters in their college years. I'm sure this movie will do well for the 10:30 late movie I saw was completely sold out!
Well don't expect any great acting here, it's a bit too campy for me. But the action is non-stop and just fun to watch. Of course everything is totally unbelievable, but that's the fun of it.
I gave this movie a Yes recommended to see, but here is the caveat: I thought the 3D and special effects were really great, but the story sucked and was hard to follow (or I just didn't care). I was hoping there would of been more funny on liners, but no. If you are taking kids, they will love it as my 11 year old did (which is the only reason I saw this movie), a lot of death and destruction but nothing bloody or gruesome. So kids will love it but I don't think adults will.....mixed review.
Well I'm not a big fan of 3 hour movies or movies in 3D, but I have an 11 year old son who wanted to see this movie, so I was game. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. The 3 hours went by quickly and the art direction was outstanding. I read the book a thousand years ago so I didn't remember much of the story, but it was really well done and entertaining. It is definitely worth seeing and truly enjoyable.
What a fantastic story. My 11 year old son said this was the best movie he has ever seen. Animation fantastic, cinematography is wonderful, acting is outstanding. Should win the academy award.
