Puss and Donkey Worthy

I think most of this movie was blah. Donkey and Puss in Boots were the highlight. I laughed out loud at them, but two characters don't make a 1 hour 34 min. long film. My son enjoyed it but like all the other 3 better if that's any indication of the worthyness of this movie. Wait for it on video or see it in a dollar theatre, the Imax and 3D didn't make much of a difference other than depth perception it's something that doesn't NEED the enhanced features. If it's a rainy Saturday and you've seen everything else there is to see, give it a try, but don't go out of your way for this or you feel as though you wasted your time and money.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

If you like the book....

Diary of a Wimpy Kid the movie is as charming as the book. If you enjoyed the book, you will like the movie, it stayed closer to the actual book than most movies "based" on a book.. A little poetic license taken here and there but in the end, my son and I both agree, this movie was VERY close to the book. We enjoyed seeing some of our favorite characters come to life on the big screen and look forward to the "Rodrick Rules" installment if they make one.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Great Film

If you enjoyed the first movie you'll like this one too. My son (who's 7) and I were both laughing out loud. Really great family fun. Some of the best characters from the first film are back along with some great new ones. This is a great light movie for the summer!

My 6 year old and I enjoyed this movie. I did think it was a little deep with the message but that didn't really get in the way of my son really getting into this movie. Wall*E is cute too which totally helps.
