One of the Best Films of All Time

This is definitely the best movie this year so far, the best movie this summer, the best superhero movie, the best gangster/crime film, and one of the best movies of all time. An instant classic. This film deserves all of the accolades it's getting and more. It should be nominated for best picture, director, original or adapted screenplay, supporting actor (Heath Ledger), visual effects, cinematography, editing, sound effects editing, sound, score, costume design, make-up, and any other nominations that it merits. This movie was such a realistic gangster/crime film that you would've thought that Michael Mann or Martin Scorsese directed it. There are some minor flaws like Batman overdoing his raspy voice, some continuity errors, and lack of visible injuries in some scenes because it's PG-13, but none of those minor missteps take away from the overall experience. Heath Ledger's Joker blows away Jack Nicholson's performance. Heath's Joker is such a psychopathic murdering terrorist that he still freaks me out. There are some great scenes that will haunt you regarding his sinister intentions and almost every line he says is a great quote that will be remembered as time goes by. Can't wait until they make another one, but this one is going to be hard to top.
