I put off seeing this one for a while, because I normally don't like this type of animation (I didn't like Madagascar at all). I went into the theater expecting an hour and a half of painful boredom, and was completely shocked to find that I was thoroughly enjoying this fun little movie. There were some laughs for everyone - nothing racy, but everyone will enjoy this movie!
I enjoyed this movie, maybe even more than the first one - I would expect the kids and teenagers will file in to watch Caspian (a cutie) battle all that comes in his way in this movie.
It might not have been released too soon for alot of box office draw, but I would still recommend it to anyone who is interested in this genre!
I really wanted to like this movie - I usually enjoy Pacino's films, but this one fell very short. I had the film figured out in the first 15 minutes - so predictable for a film that is supposed to keep you guessing.
The acting was good, but the story and character development was lacking.
Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman team up for this summer blockbuster - great job done by all three. This movie is a little harsh for young kids, but I would recommend it to any Will Smith or Charlize Theron fans.
Don't get me wrong, it's not oscar material and technical aspects of the movie aren't great... don't think too much about the logic behind the storyline and you'll enjoy it!
I hate it when they showcase all of the good laughs in the movie, in the trailer. This definitely wasn't the case for Carell's take on Get Smart.
Everyone did a good job in the film - the film, in tradition of the show, tended to be a little corny at times, but I wouldn't expect it to be any other way.
I enjoyed it! Totally worth staying out for the midnight showing!
I went to a sneak preview to see this movie last night... I am a HUGE SATC fan - ever since the first episode aired on HBO.
It was sold out last night and the excitement in the theatre exploded when the theme song started to play! So great. While, I've heard that there may be another movie in the works, this movie did the show proud.
This is a must see for fans of the 'HBO' version - might be a little too graphic for the people who have only ever seen the highly edited TBS version. Leave the kids at home!
I really liked the first three movies and this one didn't quite make it to the top of my indie faves... it's on the bottom actually... there were good laughs and it was fun, but just not as good as the others!
I saw this movie last night (very late) and it totally rocked! At first, when I heard about the cast of this movie - wasn't that keen on RD Jr... after seeing the movie - I can't imagine anyone else doing it better!
