Edward was amazing! I didn't connect with Kristen-lacked something that book Bella had. Jacob was not at all what I expected it will take a bit to accept him as character portrayed in book 2. Alice &Jasper were terrific.There was so much depth & emotion left out. Seems they played it down to reach younger audience - if they read the book they understand the story. Hope next movie makes up for what this one lacked. Overall, wouldn't have missed seeing the characters come to life on screen. I've enjoyed vampire stories for a long time (Anne Rice fan) - this story & movie puts the vampire in a contemporary setting it's refreshing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
