Fantastic. Can't wait for the extended version!! Was not too long. Background story (for those whom have not read the books) was necessary, and also helped those of us who have not read the stories in 40 yrs. 3D a little tricky on the quick pans, but on steady jobs was remarkable. Taking son and daughter to see it now. Warning! Don't take a soda with you! You'll miss something.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors

A great movie, but brush up on your Scottish. Yes, it is in English, but with a heavy Scottish accent!

Wonderful mix of old western movies and present day alien movies. Once you accept the premise, a well written movie with great actors. Highly recommend
