Hysterical, but Raunchy

Any person in their late 30's to early 40's will appreciate this movie! It is absolutely hysterical with some super one-liners that will have you rolling! That being said, some of the humor is quite raunchy. If you are easily offended, don't go to this movie, if your not, than you will love it! Great screen chemistry between the actors and they are all hysterical!

Cheesy, predictable, but fun

This movie is the typical chick flick. That being said, the cast was incredible and make this movie fun to watch. Julia Roberts had some great lines! The ending is predictable, but still enjoyable. Not something I would see twice, but an ok film.

Disappointed

While I waited to see this as it looked good from the trailer, I was a little disappointed. The story is decent but I would have thought the effects would have been better. The cast is excellent, but never really gel together. This movie falls right into the middle, decent, but I wouldn't recommend it over anything else

Kids loved it!

We took our 4 year-old to see this movie and he absolutely loved it! The Chipmunks are as fun as the first movie, but the story isn't quite as good. Not enough Dave Seville in this one. However, like I said, the kids (and I mean ALL the kids in the theater) were glued to it and laughing all the time. If you have kids, go see it. If you don't, it's not for you, trust me!

Masterpiece

This film is a visual masterpiece, and SO incredibly creative with the language and scenery. Any talk of racism, or anti-religion is ridiculous. Sigourney Weaver is excellent, as always. Michelle Rodriguez is "re-born" if you will after her alcogol issues. This is easily one of the best movies, storyline, effects, acting (especially the voice overs) that I have ever seen. Highly recommended!

Fun to Watch

I must start with this genre of film is not my style, but being my wife's birthday it was her choice. That being said, I was very pleasantly surprised! This movie has some hysterical moments and is very well acted. Streep is her usual solid self, but Baldwin and Martin do not let her steal the show! The supporting cast is very solid and you believe the emotion that they are showing. This movie is fun to watch and I would highly recommend it!

Excellent Chemistry

The acting in this movie is superb! Downey Jr., Law and Mcadams have a very palpable chemistry that really works! The movie is an excellent mystery that had me guessing right up to the end. I am usually pretty good and solving these mysteries as I watch but this one kept me guessing for quite some time. Excellent action, also! This movie did not drag. I had no trouble understanding the dialogue as some people have noted, not sure what that is about. Highly recommended!

Excellent Movie

This is one of the best acted, best scripted movies I have seen in a long time. ALL of the actors are very believable. Sandra Bullock is incredible. Quinton Aaron is absolutely awesome in portraying Michael. I highly recommend this movie. My wife wants to see it again and beleive me, that NEVER happens!!

Who is right?

This is one of the best films I have seen in years. As a law enforcement officer with 17 years on the job, I live this scenario daily. When the DA is called out for not trying a case and making a deal to keep his stats high it hits close to home! Then the DA blames the cops! This movie had me torn between what is right and what it rightous! Excellent film, well acted and I highly recommend it!

Good, but forget the politics, PLEASE

This was a good film, excellent special effects and excellent action. The acting is good and there are some good tear-jerker moments. That being said, the film was entirely possible to make WITHOUT the political statements that were made. The science is NOT plausible, but it is a movie and not reality. If you can forget the science and the politics, it is visually excellent and fun to watch.
