Strong like Iron

I must say, when I found out that Robert Downey Jr. was the Iron man I was a bit upset...I haven't enjoyed any of his more recent work...but I had purchased the tickets becuase my 11 yr. old son got straight A's and I knew he wanted to see it. Well...I was very pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the movie...loved the special effects, RDJ brought a wonderful funny spirit to the Iron Man and his interactions with Gwineth were wonderful...would have liked to see more of her...but it was a very well made movie...well done to Favreau who I still am in love with from Swingers. He is a great director. The scenes in Afghanistan or Iraq or wherever they were for the war scenes was great!!! I found myself laughing outloud at his interactions with his robot helpers and screaming at some of the suspenseful scenes...I felt like a kid again! Well done to everyone on this one. It probably will be a blockbuster and for sure there is going to be a thirst for a sequel! And RDJ...I am very happy with your new cleaner life and attitude. Good for the kids.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
