Superficial Summarization!!

The entire first half of the movie is dumbed down and almost emotion-less! All the scenes that build up the stakes and develop the lovestory between the 2 characters have been cut or modified (hello-- they cut the blood typing scene?!). The result is that the relationship between Bella and Edward is reduced to the level of any high school crush.
Once the action kicks in, from the baseball scene on, the movie does a good job. But without the heart of the romance, the overall effect is flat. Really, why did they feel they had to dumb it down so much??
No, I do not recommend this movie.
