If you are an opera fan, this can not be beat. No need to dress up. Grab a box of popcorn and a big iced drink. Once upon a time, if a singer could be heard in the balcony, they got the job. Now, there are close ups of the expressions on the faces of the singers, and the wide-screen makes the production truly spectacular.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
