Bad. Most of the actors couldn't act very well (very old-fashioned opera moves...bad direction, I presume). And they were a little too fat and way too old to be believable as "lovers." One, Dolora Zajick (as Amneris) was an especially bad actor and unbelievable.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

It's amazing to seem how hard these talented people train and work to follow their dreams no matter how unlikely the final payoff! It's also interesting to contrast what they've done to get this far with how suddenly Susan Boyle achieved her fame. Both stories are very heartwarming and inspirational. Follow your dreams!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
