A great cast and although not the most brilliant script ever, there are many thoughtful points and ideas at play here. In the hands of such gifted actors characters that could have been mere stereotypes are given depth and nuance. What a pleasure to watch a movie that is funny and inteligent and gives rise to discussion afterwards. India is captured with clear-eyed affection.
