Of the two men in my family, one thought the movie was illogical and the other thought there wasn't enough action. If you look at rotten tomatoes.com, 53% of the male "top reviewers" disliked the movie but only 10% of the female "top reviewers" disliked it. My daughter and I thought that the acting and the emotional relationships expressed in the movie were the best so far in this series and that this movie was the closest of all to the underlying book. What you think about the movie may depend, though, on your gender.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
