:) first, i have never read any of the books - so my expectations were primarily based on the previews that i'd seen. the line wasn't as full as i'd anticipated for a midnight show (three different midnight shows were playing at that theater - four if you count avatar) and it was a school night... poor release schedule maybe. however, i did enjoy the movie and :) some of the actors portraying some of the characters :) maybe it didn't need to be so violent in some parts? but if they have a sequel, i would see that. :)
