The performance was tremendous as always. The singers were really good. The new set was fascinating, but it made me nervous. Fortunately, no one got hurt.

The singing, acting, and msic in Carmen were tremendous. It was one of the best performances that Live in HD has ever done, which is saying a lot.

Great once again

I really like the new production of Tosca at the Met. The sets and production are dramatic and realistic. Scarpia is even more evil than in the previous production. The singers were all excellent both vocally and dramatically. I love the ending.

Usual Excellent Performance

As usual, the Metropolitan Opera did a wonderful job with Aida. The sets and costumes were magnificent and the singers were great.

I thought that the play within a play part of the performance was a little weird, but the singing and acting of Natalie Dessai and Juan Diego Flores were superb.
