The fact that you're even reading this review and not sitting in the IMAX version of the movie qualifies you as so out of the loop, you should be drafted to Star Fleet. . My one disappointment was the spartan use of Zulu. Abrams virtually minimized his performance to that of an extra. And Chekov rocks as much as Bones. Spock and Uhura steal the show. It's worth witnessing Uhura's spectacular beauty and talent alone. That's something sfx can never acheive.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
