This movie was much better than I anticipated it would be. I am more into lighter fare, but, must hand it to the folks who made this film. It was beyond well done. Mr. Bale was heart wrenchingly conflicted, Mr. Ledger was genius, in many cases the good do die too young. The supporting cast was exquisite, the action and settings were creativly fantasitc without going over the edge with graphic violence. Some of the script writing was trite, however, this was a comic book story, so that can be forgiven.
Too many trailers before the film, theater seats were uncomfortable. I will wait and watch this again from home. All in all, this is one for the ages, not for young kids, though.
