Unexpected

My family (50, 47, 10 & 7) went to see this movie on Friday after Thanksgiving. Of course the kids were excited, but my wife and I were going more out of obligation than anticipation (unlike most Pixar movies, where we as adults expect to be entertained) especially given the unending media campaign surrounding the movies release
Well I'm happy to say that I was wrong - this is a very good movie that all ages will enjoy - it was funny, heartwarming, fast paced and despite being predictable in parts, highly entertaining. I would have no hesitation in recommending this movie to anyone
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Very Well Done

A well done movie that both kids and parents will enjoy. Because of characters becoming other characters, it can get a bit confusing for younger kids, and it ran just a tad long, which is the only reason it didn't get 5 stars (it would've gotten like 4 and 3/4 if that was possible) But these are minor quibbles - overall it was an enjoyable experience for the whole family
Yes, I recommend this movie.

See This Movie!

First, I should say that I saw Iron Man 2 in IMAX, which definitely enhanced the experience (I saw the first one on television).
Now, for the movie itself. The bad news is - it wasn't Citizen Kane. So if you're looking for an artsy fartsy movie with deep, unintelligible meaning, stark imagery (no pun intended) and shallow performances delivered by actors with an over developed sense of importance, this is not the movie for you
The good news is - if you want an action, adventure, special effects, edge of your seat, roller coaster ride, Iron Man 2 delivers in spades
It is everything an action movie is supposed to be and then some - it is a tour de force and should not be missed
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Gooid Movie, Good Fun

Like all other Pixar movies, Up was well done - touching and funny with a lesson for all, and the good guy wins in the end.
A little formulaic? Perhaps. Predictable? Yeah a little. Does it matter? Not so much.
As long as you don't go in with exaggerated expectations, thinking you're going to see some art festival film, then you will enjoy yourself.
The one caveat - it can be a bit scary for real little ones (hence the PG rating), but honestly? Spiderwick Chronicles and Coraline were significantly scarier
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I actually thought this was better than the first one - and I thought the first one was very good. It was funny, poignant, and full of wonderful historical characters.
Admittedly, you need to suspend your sense of reality a bit to buy into the movie - but hey, it's a movie about museum characters who come to life - if you can't suspend your reality for 2 hours, you probably shouldn't even think about going to see this movie
Yes, I recommend this movie.
