After all the hype about how awesome Avatar was, I was talked into seeing it. I don't care for sci-fi movies, but my friends all said they liked it, so I gave it a shot. I should have trusted my initial instincts and declined. The movie was nothing more than visual effects. Yes, the animantion was beautiful, but that was the extent of the movie. I wasn't drawn to any of the characters and the story line was weak.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
