Eclipse was much better than the last two. The screen writing was better, the acting allot better. My husband did not like Twilight or New Moon. This one, Eclipse he said could stand alone on its own. He was pleased as was I.
I plan on seeing it at least once more if I can afford it twice more before it leaves theaters.
You will NOT be disappointed in its overall content. I do wish some of the scenes would have stuck closer to the novel...but that is the case with any movie that is based on a novel. See it. You will be impressed.

Not worth your money

This movie The Day The Earth Stood Still was not worth my time or money that I wasted to go see it. They should have handed out refunds or award money to those who stayed to watch it. I am a huge Reeves fan, but this movie was awful. It started out interesting for the first 5 minutes, but after that, it was weak, no real action or drama, no real story line, nothing really tied together. The only good thing about this was I saw it in an IMAX theater for the first time, that experience was neat. Sadly the movie even ruined that experience a little. I would not recommend this movie to anyone, even people I do not like. I hate to sound so harsh, but it is true. "Two thumbs down" Four if you include my husbands who also hated it.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
